Assessment
Within the first two weeks of placement at St Anne’s, the Pupils undertake our own internal assessments as determined by the Curriculum Coordinator, based on the Common Assessment Framework documents received from their current school and assessments through an online tool goal on line.
Individual timetables are then issued to reflect the pupil’s Individual Education Plan as determined by these assessments.
It is an essential aspect of the placement that the Pupils follow the ASDAN Certificate of Personal Effectiveness Programme (CoPE). This allows them to produce evidence for future employers or study centres, of ability in key skills such as Literacy, Numeracy, ICT and interpersonal relationships.
